Damsel fly - Sp. unknown
You need to watch out for those punk kids with the bug eye shades, the slicked back hair and the unshaven faces. You know the ones that look just a little shifty with ocelli on the tops of their heads.
This little fellow, his head is about 4mm across, was the inadvertent recipient of a full bath while I was filling up the dogs' water bowl. I fished him out and as no good deed goes unpunished, I found out how sharp those legs really are. So I brought him inside and dried him off by exposing him to intense flashes until his wings became free, then I set him on his merry way.
