Canon 100mm Macro lens on a Canon 40D With Kenko Extension Tubes (12mm, 20mm and 36mm) and Teleconverters X1.4 and X2
Subject is a micrometer scale, spacing between each numeral is 0.1 inches (2.54mm), spacing between each small mark is 0.025 inches (0.635mm).
Format is full size image (rescaled to 800x533) then a 100% center crop (800X600). Images were resized and cropped with Irfanview.
Mounting was lens, extension tube(s), teleconverter (X1.4 before X2), camera.
All images were taken hand held to simulate field conditions (All could be improved with the use of a tripod). Manual focus set to the nearest focus distance. All images were exposed at ISO 400, F11 @ 1/250S. All images used the Canon MT-24EX Macro Twin Lite.
